Ingredients:
Cook the noodles in water according to the package instructions. The rest can be done while the noodles are cooking.
If the sausage is raw, first divide it into bite-size chunks and fry them until browned.
Put oil in frying pan (or wok), add garlic, garlic paste and ginger root. Fry for a minute or two to blend the flavors. Add the sausage, onion and pepper strips, peas, salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the onions and peppers start to soften. Add the soy sauce, and cook until it starts to bubble.
Add the noodles to the cooked mixture and stir thoroughly. Divide into bowls if you've made several servings. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
Some people add the garlic later, after the onions and peppers have been cooked. This gives a sweeter result, with a separate fresh garlic flavor, because the garlic is in small barely-cooked particles.
