NOTE: The music should be lively, yet controlled, and danced with a skip change of step.  The rings
should be slipped and the rest walked.  The dance was first performed in Dr John Ramsay's
honour at the Levi Jackson week-end in September 1974.  One very slight alteration to it has been
made since then.

John Ramsay, directory of Recreation extension at Berea College in Kentucky, earned his doctorate
