St Columba's Strathspey
A strathspey for 5 couples in a longwise set.
Sadie Gillan and Vicky Sproule

1-4   2C and 4C dance RH across and stay in the middle.

5-8   2C dance up, nearer hands joined and cast to face
      first corners.  4C dance down similarly.

9-16  Corners pass and turn.  2C and 4C finish in a line down
      the centre, M facing up W down (same as in Midnight Oil).

17-24 2C and 4C dance a reel of 4 and finish back in original
      places on the sidelines.

25-28 2C, 3C, 4C and 5C set.  2C and 4C cast, 3C and 5C dance up.

29-32 1C and 2C (now in 3rd place) turn both hands and cast off one
      place to become the new dancing couples.  Order now 31524.

I do not believe that the dance has been  published  although  it  is
very  popular  around Edinburgh.  Sadie has written an excellent tune
for it.
