This dance was written for Phyllis South to thank her for her 40 years of teaching at the Milton Scottish Country Dancing Club. Phyllis has shared her enthusiasm and expertise with so many dancers, and those of us who have been inspired by Phyllis with a love of dancing were delighted when Phyllis and her husband, Jim, were awarded the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society's Scroll of Honour in 2002.
