Here's a RTR dance that Norma and I devised [in 2002].  Feedback welcome.

N & M Briggs, 2002A round-the-room dance for groups of two couples in a big
circle.  All begin facing partner, men on the inside.

    1-8    1C DOWN THE MIDDLE (clockwise) AND UP (counterclockwise)
    9-16   1C & 2C ALLEMANDE
    17-20  1C & 2C CROSS WITH PARTNER “Duke of Kent” style (with RH
           joined, balance,  and cross (W dancing under the joined R arms)
    21-24  FOUR HANDS AROUND TO THE LEFT
    25-26  All DANCE into the center to form a long line (one big circle),
           taking RH with partner, LH with neighbor
    27-28  BALANCE
    29-32  All TURN PARTNER RH 1-3/4 to own side (1C may remain in the middle
           RH joined for a repeat of the dance)

The suggested music is "Flow Gently, Sweet Afton".  There are at least two
tunes for the Burns poem.  Either one will work for the dance.
