From east of Concord: Take Route 2 west towards Concord. At the light where Route 2 takes a left turn at a Mobil station as you are coming down a hill, get in the far right lane to go straight, on Cambridge Turnpike, towards Concord Center. Cambridge Turnpike merges with Lexington Road, bear left onto Lexington Road. After a short distance, take a left at the first intersection onto Heywood Street. Travel one block and take a left on Walden Street and then take the first right on Laurel Street. Alcott School will be on your left almost immediately. The red star on the map below shows where the entrance to the school is, but there is also parking on the street.
From west of Concord: Get on Route 2 heading east. After staying on Route 2 at the rotary at Concord Prison, take 2nd exit (left) onto Elm Street, which is at a light where there is a left turn light. At the end of the exit ramp, take a right onto Elm Street. At the end of Elm Street, turn left on Main Street. At the first light, take a right on Thoreau Street. Pass through a commercial area, through the next light, pass by a large playground on the left. Take the second left after the playground onto Laurel Street. Alcott School will be on your right a short distance down the street. The red star on the map below shows where the entrance to the school is, but there is also parking on the street.
From north or south of Concord: take Route 495, which runs north and south west of Concord, take the Route 2 exit and follow the directions for coming from west of Concord, or take Route 95 same as (Rt 128), take the Route 2 exit and follow the directions from east of Concord.
