There are two contra-dance bands called Roaring Jelly:

Roaring Jelly in Massachusetts

is a Boston area contra dance band that has been playing together (in one incarnation or another) since 1970. We play for a monthly dance in Lexington, and appear occasionally at other dances in the area.

Roaring Jelly in New Mexico

is in the Los Alamos / Santa Fe / Albuquerque area, and plays for contra, square, Scottish, and other related styles of dancing.
